The Rhode Island Gang Investigators Association ( RIGIA ) was founded as a non-profit, Rhode Island Registered, Law Enforcement Association, by the combined efforts of the law enforcement and criminal justice agencies of Rhode Island, to combat the rise in violent youth and gang activities in the Northeastern region of the United States.
Our mission is to gather and disseminate information to law enforcement and related agencies; to educate our school administrators, teachers, parents, students, businesses, community and police in gang awareness and to foster a community response towards a peaceful environment for the betterment of the people of Rhode Island and New England. |
